Poor Nigerians

Over 63% of Nigeria’s population—more than 133 million people—live in multidimensional poverty, lacking access not just to income, but also education, healthcare, sanitation, and employment. At our organisation, we believe that poverty is not just a condition but a consequence of systemic exclusion. That’s why we have launched the Support Economy for the Marginalized program—an initiative designed to uplift those at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid through targeted economic empowerment.

Our approach is people-centred and community-driven. We provide micro-grants, facilitate cooperative development, and connect informal workers and petty traders with flexible financial services, market access, and mobile banking tools.

We are also working closely with local governments and grassroots organisations to identify areas where women, youth, and disabled individuals are being left behind—and ensure they have a seat at the table.
The program will support hundreds of low-income households with seed capital, group lending models, and rural enterprise kits. We will prioritise sustainability by ensuring beneficiaries receive financial literacy training and community support. By enabling economic self-reliance, we aim to reduce dependency and build dignity. Every Naira invested here supports resilience for Nigeria’s most overlooked citizens.
