Skill acquisition

In communities where access to formal employment is limited, skills are the greatest currency. Through our Skills Acquisition & Training Initiative, we are actively combating poverty by equipping vulnerable Nigerians with practical skills that lead to income generation and personal development.

With over 60% of Nigerians under 35 and high unemployment rates among youth and women, the need for scalable skills is urgent. Our programs are tailored for the realities of those at the base of the socio-economic ladder—offering flexible, short-term, hands-on trainings in agriculture, digital literacy, tailoring, auto-mechanics, small-scale manufacturing, and more.

We partner with accredited trainers, vocational institutes, and industry mentors to provide holistic learning that includes both technical and soft skills such as communication, entrepreneurship, and basic financial management. Training centres are placed within communities to ensure easy access for rural and peri-urban participants, particularly women, youth, and the physically challenged.

After graduation, our cohorts can start micro-businesses or gain apprenticeships and employment. Graduates will be supported with toolkits, small startup funding, and ongoing mentorship. This program is more than skill-building—it’s about restoring agency and building pathways out of poverty. In every trained hand, there is a future transformed.
