Gbonse Foundation for Economic Development (Gbonse) is a community-based organization based in Lagos, Nigeria. The foundation is dedicated to reducing poverty and improving livelihoods by empowering individuals—especially women, youth, and low-income families—to build sustainable sources of income and access essential services.
Inspired by successful community-based development models used in Bangladesh and Africa, Gbonse combines microfinance, entrepreneurship support, health outreach, and legal assistance to help individuals and families move toward economic independence and social wellbeing.
